Mitsubishi has display n off its PX-MiEV plu-in hybrid crossover concept ahead of its official launch at the Tokyo motor display later this month.
The four-wheel drive concept is powered by two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors (one at the front and one at the rear), which have a combined outplace of 80bhp. The motors also produces 147lb ft of torque.

Power also approach s from a 1.6-litre petrol engine, which can power the front wheels as well as act as a generator. It has a power outplace of 114bhp and it can produce 92lb ft of torque.
At low speeds, its lithium-ion battery powers the front motor, while on snow, ice and other rough terrains, both motors are powered to enable its four-wheel drive mode.
Although no interior pictures have been released, Mitsubishi claims it has been developed to create a clean, stress-free and Safe & reassuring theme.
Mitsubishi has also display n off its i-MiEV Carrecede , which is a van based on its all-electric i-MiEV city car.
