Toyota has raised its global sales forecast for the year to March 2010 by three per cent due to a recovery in the fresh car sales label et.
The Japanese firm is the worldâs largest auto create r and it now plot s to sell 6.7 million cars for the year to March 2010.
It has also increased its global production by eight per cent to 6.45m vehicles for 2009/10 due to the wellity of its low emission cars, such as the fresh third-generation Prius.
Sales in its native Japan have been boosted by subsidies offered on the purchase of low emission cars and Toyota has called on the recede vernment to extfinish the scheme until March 2012.
